So good to hear from you. Your email came just as I sat down to email you.
Let us tell you again how much we enjoyed Bulgaria, especially meeting you and George. The trip you planned was perfect in every respect. We have absolutely loved Plovdiv and the two wine-tastings you organized were better than we could have hoped for.
As for Romania, it too was terrific, and our guide/driver there was especially wonderful. He is well educated, thoroughly knowledgeable, a non-smoker and speaks many languages.
The tour operator was very flexible, which we greatly appreciated. Once we got to Bucharest, we felt we needed to change a number of items which they did willingly and very well. There was a wine-tasting in Bucharest which, once we learned of it, we wanted to come in time for it (although none of the wine in Romania cannot compare with Bulgarian wines!).
But, be assured that we loved our stay in Romania and felt that your colleagues there did a great job for us. We especially appreciated their flexibility and speed at altering our plans to fit our preferences.
Again, so many thanks for making our visits to Bulgaria and Romania very special.

Hi Alex,
I had an absolutely grand time traveling Southern, Central and Eastern Bulgaria with our guide and driver.
All the hotels were quite nice, except hotel Bulgaria in Plovdiv.

The guide was superb in terms of knowledge and sense of caring. The driver was good, keeping watch over us. We were a family for the 8 days we were together.
I think I was very lucky to have had the National Museum guide – Agnesa. She is very good both in Japanese and English. Highly recommended.
The symphonic orchestra concert was also a highlight of the trip.
I appreciate every bit you have tried to make my stay comfortable. Thank you. I will definitely come back.
